Our library of open source SaaS apps

Using Replay Builder, we’re creating and maintaining a library of free, open source SaaS apps.  After launching last month with 9 apps, we now have over 50!  We plan to keep doubling the number of apps each month, for a little while at least.  These are complete, full stack apps mainly focused on internal tools for small businesses and personal use.

We’re building these apps communally.  Each one has a landing page describing its features, with a stage (alpha, beta etc) assessing its quality and notes on known issues.  You can sign up as an early adopter (we’ll support you to make sure things are working great), request features, report bugs, and so on.  You can also work on improving the apps themselves using Builder: fixes and new features can be upstreamed, improving the apps for everyone.
We’re continuously updating the pages and improving the apps to become a comprehensive suite of tools that will work reliably, can be customized for your exact needs, and are yours to own completely.
These apps are built using an automatic development process that takes an initial design, assembles the app using shared components, integrations and so on (also automatically developed), writes a full test suite, and uses our time travel debugger to fix test failures and get those tests passing.  We have over 1700 tests written with a 95% passing rate, and more being added every day.  We review all changes by hand but that’s about it.
The apps produced by this process are not perfect.  Please report any bugs to Builder; it is pretty good at fixing things by creating recordings from session data and debugging them to understand the root of the issue.  If it fails we can debug the recordings ourselves.
Browse the Builder apps for any you’d like to use and sign up as an early adopter, or just download the apps and use them however you’d like.  If you want to help to improve these apps, or if you want to use Builder to work on your own app library, fill out this form and we’ll be in touch.
